BOD Special Zoom Meeting
The 01/15/2023 Board of Director’s special meeting of the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association was called to order at 3:03 pm by Ken Michels, President. Directors present were N/E Ken Michels and Andy Wondrash, S/E YZ Weisensel, Bob Ebbers, N/W Tate Barwald and Aaron Katzenberg, S/W Tyler Buchanan, Executive Assistant/Shoot Coordinator Amy Jenkins. Absent: S/W LaVerne Lehmann, ATA Delegate Kevin Doering
Meeting started at 3:03pm.
The meeting was called in order to discuss the temporary replacement of Laverne Lehmann due to his recent hospitalization. Tyler spoke to John Reding who is willing to fill the vacancy until Laverne is better. Tyler saw Laverne on Friday and he said he was willing to resign and Tyler told him that he should just concentrate on getting better and taking care of himself. Tyler also reported that Laverne was moved to a nursing home type facility for recovery.
Tate made a motion to temporarily cover Laverne’s director duties while he is unable to perform the duties due to a medical condition. Andy seconded. So carried.
Tyler made a recommendation to nominate John Reding to fill Laverne’s spot. Bob seconded. Andy clarified that this would cover the interim until Laverne is medically cleared to return and/or until the zone shoot election in June when Laverne’s spot is up for re-election. So carried.
YZ made a motion to adjourn. Tate seconded. So carried.
Meeting adjourned at 3:08pm.
