As a result of this week’s lightening fire that completely destroyed MSC’s main building, we have decided to cancel the Saturday, July 25th ATA shoot and move it back by 1 day to Sunday, July 26th. This may come to a surprise to some that we have decided to move forward with an ATA shoot so soon after this devastating act of nature, but our club members are determined to not let anything further inhibit the 2020 trapshooting season.
Additionally many club members were very disappointed by the news last week of the Iowa State Championships being cancel. With the trapshooting season just starting to get into full swing and with the upcoming Grand American, Muscoda Sportsman’s Club members thought it would a good idea to keep the momentum rolling.
Are intentions for this upcoming ATA shoot are to work out the remaining buildings for the computer portion of the shoot and provide as much shade as possible with tents or pop ups. We will still be offering food and drink but the selection will include fewer options because of our limited capabilities. We will utilize port-a-potties on site for bathrooms. As usual, we will be completely sanitizing all outside seating prior to the shoot.
This shoot was not previously scheduled, so it will not appear in the Wisconsin Shooters Calendar.
