In the past 20 years or so that I have made the state team 14 or 15 times a letter has been sent out to the people that made the team from the WTA congratulating them. Was a letter sent out. Not everyone looks at this site. I would not have known about the team had someone not emailed me and congratulated me.

    Don,
I would be happy to send that letter. I know a few of those on the list that have abilities above mine, I did not see a request at the last board meeting minutes that such letter be sent?

    I hope I can attend?

I don’t believe a letter was sent last year either, I could be wrong though, but I don’t think that bothers most applicants/recipients. The team is determined from those that actually apply for it, so if an applicant was really concerned or curious, they could simply log into THIS website and look. Anyone with a computer can click on this website and read the news. It takes only minutes. I DO commend the person that had been sending out the letters, donating their time and effort for the WTA. Very commendable. Thank you.

Dwight. In the 15 or so years I have been on the team at least 13 of those years letters were sent out. It was the Secretary that sent them out. I would be willing to bet that the majority of the members are not on this site. There are so few people an members that use this site it is a joke. I know exactly how the team is elected. Why should people have to log onto this site to see if they made the team. They may have sent in their application via mail and not email. Why don’t the WTA add a spot for email address to the application. They could at least send a email to those that have it. Believe it or not, not everyone has email.

Oh and it does bother ME that no notification was given. This should be something that is important. It used to be.

How can changes still be made 2 months after the application’s had to be in.

Human error, that’s how. Kevin received a call with a question on Hadyn McKeough’s qualification. Kevin went back over the numbers again and found in fact that he did meet the target requirements. End of story…I think Kevin does a fantastic job!! Remember a few of us still work a full time job while trying to serve the WTA the best we can. Mistakes are bound to happen.

Wow someone really woke up in a poor attitude mood. If a person can’t ask a question on this forum what purpose does it serve. And you need to remember that I was also volunteering with and on the board when I was working full time. And that is after about 30 heart procedures so I know all about volunteering.

And that is why it would be good for people to get a letter of congratulations so people would know the team earlier. Like I said before not everyone even knows this site exists. The application dead line was moved up so it could be put in Trap and field earlier and be voted on in the late year end meeting. Now it has been 2 1/2 months and it still isn’t finalized.

Where in my question does it say anything about Kevin not doing a good job? If you would have just said that the shooter called Kevin and he found a mistake in stead of being a J___ about it things would have been better.

LOL you crack me up Don….I guess you read it different than I. You asked a question and it was answered.
