About Us

The Wisconsin Trapshooting Association was organized in 1899 to support the sport of trapshooting and hold the Wisconsin State Shoot. After 114 years, the WTA continues to hold the Wisconsin State Shoot, mentor youth shooters, conduct the 5-Man Team Shoot, emphasize gun safety, and support numerous worthy charities.

Membership in the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association is granted once you join the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association and the Amateur Trapshooting Association.  You will pay your dues to the WTA and the ATA and this allows you to participate in officials shoots throughout the year.
