Reports

Bruce: Bruce and the Directors decided to invite Perry Hintz and any other SCTP officials to a teleconference call on April 20th to explain our situation and inform them on the WTA’s decision to put the building on hold until it could be affordable.

It was brought up that maybe we could use wood chips for the golf cart run. Bruce was going to look into what could be done. We have the trees, maybe just need the wood chipper and a dump truck to transfer them. They all felt that this should not cost too much.

We did not have a great turn out for our work weekend but quite a bit was still accomplished. The bases underneath the traps were stiffened up. Trees were cut down in the camp grounds and over the fire pits in order to open things up a little more. A big Thank you for those who help it was truly appreciated.

Denny reported to Bruce that he had purchased an electricity monitor which will let us know how much electricity is used by a camper in one week. This should help with determining what we should charge for seasonal camping.

Denny also reported that he may have a deal in place with MEC for five stand at the Homegrounds. This will definitely help to get a variety of shooting at the Homegrounds.

Jim: Jim said that there has not been much income coming in, and the financial situation has not changed much. Denny has made a deposit from the shooting that had gone on during the weekend.

He reported that he did move the money out of the savings and some from the building fund and got the loan payment sent.

It was brought up by Jim that Denny was not yet switched to a private contractor. Don had sent a lot of information to the board on how it would work. The board agreed it would be a good thing for the WTA. Bruce was going to call Denny and invite him to the teleconference on Monday, April 20th to discuss it with him.

Theresa: I let Jim know I had received a check and would be sending it out to him.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:10.

Next meeting:The next Teleconference meeting will be on April 20, 2015 at 6:30.
