REPORTS AROUND THE TABLE:

Arlene had nothing to report.

Eric had mailed the copy of the Summit Credit loan to Ehlers. Ehlers will be meeting with the Town Board on Thursday. He will be sending copies of the monthly financial reports to Board Members as they are completed. Eric will cut a check for the Summit Credit Loan payment. Glenn asked Eric about the Insurance plans, he will call tomorrow.

Rick had nothing new to report from the ATA. He had suggestions for changes to the Trap Line

Help Instructions prepared by Adam. Adam will incorporated those changes and include the suggested change made by Don. Bruce thanked him for the fantastic job he had done in preparing it. He is looking for assistance in preparing the trap training video.

Kevin has received applications for the Zone shoots from Eau Claire and Sauk Prairie, needed are applications from Fox Valley and the S.E. Zone. Dan McDermott, with the approval of the Beaver Dam Board, said they would host the 2014 SE Zone Shoot. Both clubs in rotation for the SE Zone – Waukesha Gun Club and Boxhorn Gun Club have declined. Programs for the Zone Shoots need to be provided to Kevin by Dec. 15 for Board review.

Dwight and Gary had nothing new to report.

Don spoke with Dan McDermott. Beaver Dam will host the SE Zone Shoot. Restructuring the Zone Map was discussed. It did not appear there would be any problem in moving Dodge County into the SE Zone as it would not be taking many shooters out of the zone. Rick suggested looking at other zone boundary lines. Also discussed was a return to the bidding process (cash only) or going to an established amount added to the entry fees. This was all tabled to the next meeting.

Don reported work being done at the home grounds. A few trees were removed from the west end.

Dennis reported electrical pedestals are on order. Pedestals for water are already there. Shelter pads have been poured. Several people have contacted Dennis with regards to building the event center and a pole building. They are putting numbers together. He will also contact Tom Felts and John Wilke for pole building numbers as they had expressed interest.

Glenn said that Jean Osgood was interested in providing food vendors for the state shoot. She currently organizes volunteer services for the Town of Rome. Her questions were: who provides tables & chairs (we do). Do we need a vendor to sell beer & soda – No. Will we have fire pits and wood – Yes. There is a local source for firewood. Dennis and Bruce both know of a company for the fire pits – one in Portage

Next meeting: December 7, 9:00 am at the Heart of Wisconsin Gun Club. This will be followed by a Christmas Dinner. Anyone having to stay over needs to make their own motel reservations.

Meeting adjourned – 7:15 pm

Respectfully submitted,
Arlene Otto, Secretary
